Richard Schreiber is a solutions-driven public safety leader with over 25 years of experience in emergency communications, EMS operations, and strategic planning. As Executive Director of the Tuscaloosa County Emergency Communications District, he oversees the daily operations of the 9-1-1 center, ensuring seamless coordination between law enforcement, fire, and EMS agencies.
He previously served as Director of Communications at NorthStar EMS, managing multi-county systems and workforce development initiatives. In addition to his executive duties, Richard is an EMS Instructor at the Alabama Fire College and continues to serve as an active paramedic.
Known for his leadership, operational foresight, and dedication to community safety, Richard continues to drive innovation in emergency services throughout Alabama.
