Caleb Branch serves as Executive Director of the Alabama 9-1-1 Board, bringing nearly two decades of experience in public safety and emergency communications. He began his career at age 18 as a telecommunicator with Clay County 9-1-1 and later worked as a paramedic in Clay, Randolph, and Calhoun counties before serving as Director of Blount County 9-1-1. Caleb holds a Master of Health Administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a Bachelor’s degree in Emergency Management from Jacksonville State University. Most recently, he worked for a public safety networking company, where he led the deployment of the Alabama Next Generation Emergency Network (ANGEN). Caleb and his wife, Gussie, an optometrist and business owner, have been married for 14 years and have two children, Eliza and Joseph.
