Laura brings over 22 years of experience as a 9-1-1 dispatcher and more than a decade of expertise in the education sector. One of her proudest achievements is developing a special needs registry to assist first responders and the public in emergency encounters. She is passionate about making a positive impact in the community through education.
Outside of work, Laura is the proud parent of two daughters, ages 19 and 21. She frequents Tuscaloosa on game days to watch her youngest perform with the Million Dollar Band color guard. But make no mistake, Laura is an Auburn fan to the core, War Eagle. She often travels to Orlando and its theme parks while visiting her oldest daughter while she lives her best Disney life in the sunshine state. Laura has been an avid supporter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society for ten years, participating in fundraising efforts and raising over $25,000 to support the organization.
