Alabama 9-1-1 Board Grant Program-Cycle 11

The eleventh cycle of the Alabama 9-1-1 Board Grant Program is now open and accepting applications. 

The overall goal of the Grant Program is to provide financial assistance to validly formed Emergency Communication Districts (ECDs) based on demonstrated need(s) in compliance with §11-98 et seq. of the Code of Alabama 1975, as amended. The purpose is to partially fund the non-recurring costs of projects necessary to achieve or maintain continuity and enhancement of 911 assuring that every location in Alabama has equitable access to 911 service.

Request for Proposal Issued--Next Generation 9-1-1 Geographic Information System (GIS) - AL-GIS-RFP-23-001

The Alabama 9-1-1 Board is seeking proposals from qualified vendors of Next Generation 9-1-1 GIS services whose proposed solution(s) and services meet the requirements specified in this RFP.  The expectation is that the vendor will supply a GIS services solution to the State of Alabama or any geographical area within.  This GIS services solution must seamlessly function within the existing NG9-1-1 services platform, the Alabama Next Generation Emergency Network (ANGEN).

AL-GIS-RFP-19-002--Response to Written Questions

 

The Alabama 9-1-1 Board received questions pertaining to AL-GIS-RFP-19-002 submitted in writing from interested parties.  The questions and corresponding answers have been combined into a single document for publication.  During this process, it was discovered that ATTACHMENT D-Technical Specifications required some editing.  The Technical Specifications has been amended.
